The e-Assessment Association (eAA) has opened nominations for new members to join its Board of Directors, inviting members to play a key role in shaping the future direction of the Association and the wider e-assessment community.

Over the past year, the eAA has continued to evolve as a confident, forward-looking organisation, supported by a strengthened operations team and a clear focus on collaboration, innovation and positive advocacy. This nomination cycle offers an opportunity to bring new perspectives into the Board as the Association builds on this momentum and looks ahead to its next phase of growth and impact.

Three director positions will become vacant in September 2026, including two Ordinary Director roles for individual members and one Organisational Director role for an organisational (sponsor) member. Directors are appointed for a three-year term, within an annual rotation model that supports continuity while welcoming new ideas and experience.

Serving as a Director of the eAA is an opportunity to contribute at a strategic level to the advancement of e-assessment. Board members help set direction, champion good practice, and support the Association’s role as a trusted, influential voice for technology-enabled assessment that improves learning and outcomes for learners.

The eAA welcomes applications from members who are excited by the future of assessment and keen to contribute insight, experience and commitment to the leadership of the Association. Directors work closely with the operations team and fellow Board members, with an indicative time commitment of four to six hours per month.

The nominations process is overseen by the eAA Nominations Committee. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to interview, with final appointments confirmed by the Board. Successful candidates will take up their roles from 25 September 2026.

Nominations close on 9 March 2026 at 12:00 noon GMT.
