The 10th Conference of the International Association for Computerized Adaptive Testing (IACAT) will take place from 28–30 September 2026 in São Paulo, Brazil. Focusing on the next generation of research in adaptive testing, the conference will explore developments in computerized adaptive testing (CAT), multistage testing (MST) and wider assessment innovations, including AI item generation and automated essay scoring. The programme will feature workshops, keynotes, symposia and presentations covering both methodological research and real-world implementation.
