The State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan celebrate 10th anniversary of our organization and will organize international scientific-practical conference devoted to the anniversary scheduled for 10 April 2026 in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The State Examination Center (SEC) of the Republic of Azerbaijan was established on April 11, 2016, by decree of President Ilham Aliyev, marking its 10th anniversary in April 2026. It functions as a public legal entity responsible for managing student admissions, civil service recruitment, and final assessment exams for education institutions.

Establishment: The SEC was created by merging the State Students Admission Commission (established 1992) and the Civil Service Commission (established 2005).
Purpose: It ensures fair, transparent, and reliable examination processes for educational institutions, residencies, and state agencies.
Key Figures: Maleyka Abbaszade was appointed as the chairperson of the Board of Directors upon its foundation.
Impact: Since its founding, the center has managed examinations for millions of candidates, with nearly 3 million participants in various exams by 2021.
Operations: The SEC operates with regional branches, including in Baku and Nakhchivan, conducting exams for undergraduate, graduate, and civil service positions.
