RM Results secures new e-marking project with the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board
In March 2018, RM Results signed a 32 month contract with the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) to deliver their new Integrated Digitisation of Scripts and Electronic Marking System (iDSEM).
This new project will enable the SEAB to scan student answer booklets to a system developed by RM Results in partnership with Datascan, to then be marked onscreen using RM Assessor.
Steve Harrington, RM Results Account Director commented:
“We have worked with the SEAB in the past, with our first project in 2013 being the development and delivery of a small pilot to enable students to sit Singapore’s national Mother Tongue Language tests on computers. We are really excited to be working again with the SEAB on this new strategic initiative.”
The project team is currently being mobilised, with RM Results setting up a project office in Singapore. Solution development commences in June 2018, with the first scripts to be scanned and marked in October 2019.
Note: The e-Assessment Association looks to reward excellence in export in this field through the e-Assessment Awards. Please do get in touch if you are also working outside of your main country of operation
