SQA Case Study

The SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) is the national body in Scotland responsible for the development, accreditation, assessment and certification of qualifications other than degrees. It serves the dual roles of Awarding Body and Regulatory Authority in Scotland.
The overall aim of the SQA is to manage the qualifications system below degree level to allow students to fulfil their potential to participate in the economy, society and communities of Scotland. SQA believes that e-assessment will play an increasingly important role in supporting delivery of its qualifications. It believes that e-assessment offers significant benefits to SQA, centres and in particular the students that take its qualifications.
This case study looks at the use of the DeskSpace ePortfolio (a customised PebblePad solution) to support the Financial Services Skills for Work course.
