Dental Nurse apprenticeship success

Dental Nurse apprenticeship success

Introduction: Mollie Cooke has successfully completed her end-point assessment with NCFE for the Dental Nurse apprenticeship standard.

Together with Training provider Training 2000 and EPA Plus, they supported Mollie and her employer through the process, ensuring she could demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours for the apprenticeship.

Mollie commented: “I loved learning about dental nursing, I found it interesting and loved watching people’s smiles transform during on the job training. My assessor responded to all my queries and worries pretty much instantly, and she put me at ease, I honestly couldn’t have asked for better. Getting a distinction was just the cherry on top. I feel like I’ve accomplished even more than I could have imagined, and I’ve loved it!”

Emma Krupinski, Dental Nurse CDA/Assessor at Training 2000 commented: “NCFE are a quality EPA organisation that we work closely with to ensure our learners receive the best service possible for the end- point assessments.”

Mollie’s employer, Park House Dental commented “Training 2000 have assisted in both the theoretical and practical training for the dental nurse apprenticeship scheme and the EPA assessment went very smoothly. Mollie has excelled to take on more senior nurse responsibilities within the organisation and she is an asset to the organisation. She has been a hard-working apprentice and a very keen student who is organised and has good time keeping. The teachers at Training 2000 and our practical training have helped Mollie to achieve the best training possible.”

EPA Plus offers both NCFE and CACHE standards across a variety of a sector and subject areas, which are supported by sector expertise, guidance documents and proactive service.
