About the eAA
We are a not-for-profit membership organisation dedicated to furthering the adoption of technology-enhanced assessment. Founded in 2008 we are a strong and independent professional body, influencing developments in e-Assessment.
We have three major goals:
- To provide professional support and facilitate debate and discussion for people involved in this field of expertise.
- To communicate the positive contributions that technology makes to all forms of assessment.
- To develop statements of good practice for suppliers and consumers of e-Assessment technologies.
Our volunteer Board is made up of both individual members and corporate members supporting the aims and objectives of the Association. Our Board is supported by a small Executive Team who deliver day-to-day activities.
Membership of the eAA is free and we have over 3,500 members representing all sectors, from end users in education and the workplace to academics and institutions, technology providers and large corporates. We are funded by our sponsors, industry suppliers who enable us to promote the role technology plays in improving the assessment of knowledge, skills and capabilities.
