Unity partners with testing firm Pearson VUE to roll out Unity Certification tests globally

“Unity has partnered with computer-based testing firm Pearson VUE to roll out its Unity Certification program worldwide.
Developers can now take a test in one of 5,000 test centres in 180 countries around the globe. It will allow them to prove that they are capable of certain abilities within Unity, which can make them more attractive to potential employers.
Unity has also added three new tests to its suite of certifications. Developers can now prove themselves as an Expert Gameplay Programmer, Expert Technical Artist: Rigging & Animation, and Expert Technical Artist: Shading & Effects.
“We chose Pearson VUE to deliver these new certification exams because of their impressive test centre network and the high levels of customer service they offer,” Unity Technologies’ head of education Jessica Lindl.
“This means greater convenience for Unity creators sitting the exam, no matter where they are in the world.”
Unity had previously partnered with eleven organisations around the world to provide testing for its Unity Certification. Prior to either of these partnerships the company had been running its own tests at conferences.
