Awards entry deadline extended to 23rd February (midnight GMT)

In response to requests to allow more time to submit Award entries, we are extending the final entry deadline to Wednesday 23rd February (midnight GMT).

Organised by the e-Assessment Association this is the sixth year for these prestigious awards, which have attracted entries from every continent showcasing the latest innovations in technology-enhanced assessment worldwide.

The Award Categories have been updated for 2022 and allow individuals and teams, practitioners and suppliers to showcase how they have used technology to improve assessment. New for 2022 is the Best Practitioner of the Year Award, which acknowledges an individual or team who have made a real difference to their students thanks to their outstanding use of e-assessment in the last year.

Matt Wingfield, Chief Executive of the e-Assessment Association, said, “Over the last two years, we have seen huge transformation in education, with technology playing a pivotal role in enabling assessments to continue during the global pandemic. “These Awards are an important way to celebrate those who are making a positive contribution and drive change in the way we assess learners worldwide at all stages of their education.”

Entries close on Friday 18th February at midnight (GMT) and the finalists will be announced on 21st March and will have a dedicated opportunity to present their projects at the 2022 International e-Assessment Conference, starting with a series of pre-conference webinars in May, and then at the face-to-face conference in Central London on 21st and 22nd June 2022. The Award winners will be announced at the Awards Gala Dinner at the conference on the evening of 21st June.

The e-Assessment Awards programme holds a unique international position, encompassing all sectors of education: from schools, through further and higher education to workplace training and professional exams. The Awards programme was launched in October 2016 to highlight and celebrate the outstanding and positive contributions that technology makes to all forms of assessment, and has gone on to showcase the best practice, research and innovation in the sector.
