New digital class room platform from TCS iON

TCS iON response to the Covid-19 impact on education
UNESCO estimates that 1.37 billion children risk having their education interrupted due to COVID-19. In response to this, TCS iON have launched the TCS iON Digital Glass Room, a mobile and web education platform for schools and colleges, which empowers teachers to engage with students in real-time by sharing lessons, videos, worksheets, assignments, and assessments.
TCS iON are both sponsors of the e-Assessment Association and a sponsor of the e-Assessment Question Conference 2020. Their interactive platform uses classroom like methods such as polls, debates, quizzes, surveys, and many more. It provides an embedded live classroom, which simulates live classroom teaching, so, parents can continue with their work, while their children are guided and taught by the teachers. TCS iON have made this platform available for FREE until 31st of March 2021, in order to help tide over this year with no obligations for future use.

TCS iON Remote Proctoring Software brings in the highest level of security for the appropriate use of the individual candidate’s assessment device.
The robust ID verification process and continuous monitoring of the candidate’s activity during assessment raises red flags on suspicious activities based on AI/ ML algorithms. In addition, TCS brings in its capability to deliver end-to-end remote proctoring by providing Invigilation as a Service with its 17,000+ invigilators who go through a rigorous training and certification process to provide best proctoring quality.
TCS iON provides various modes of remote proctoring depending on the criticality of the assessment being administered:

- Remote Human Proctoring – Candidates can the exam online with a remote proctor (human) connected with them. The device on which candidates take exam is locked down and all other applications are disabled. Candidate feeds are sent to a proctor for monitoring.
- System Proctoring – Along with all features of Remote Human Proctoring, Artificial Intelligence/Machine learning based proctoring can also be enabled for high stake assessments to enhance proctoring on aspects of image, voice, text and video along with multiple innovations related to face/ body emotion capture etc.
