Learning technologies provider, eCom Scotland,  announce two new key appointments

 

Geoff Chapman, new VP Business Development, will head up the Business Development and Account Management team, responsible for growing the client base in new and existing sectors, and managing client relationships. He will report to Linda Steedman, eCom’s Chief Executive Officer.

Geoff is an education technology professional with over 15 years’ experience. During this time, he has worked on high-profile international educational technology projects for government bodies, awarding organisations and institutes, and financial services companies. A winner of the prestigious eAssessment Scotland award, Geoff has served as Vice-Chairman of the e-Assessment Association. He is a regular speaker at international e-Assessment events and shares his insights on the industry under the ‘eAssessmentChap’ Twitter account.

Linda Steedman, eCom Scotland’s CEO said “We are delighted to welcome Geoff to eCom.  He brings with him a wealth of knowledge of the learning technologies sector. He will help us to further develop our client partnerships and as well as providing the focus to expand into new markets.”

eCom also announce the appointment of Judy Bloxham as Learning Technologies Consultant. Judy is a renowned and respected learning technology expert with over 10 years’ experience working in the further education and skills sector, including 5 years at JISC. She has worked on the development of learning for a number of sectors including engineering, construction, and automotive. Judy has extensive experience of developing Augmented Reality as a learning tool and an interest in emerging technologies like Virtual Reality.
