Hear from Microsoft, the World Bank and author David Price OBE at the Virtual Surpass Conference

The Surpass Conference is the perfect place to get together with likeminded assessment professionals and industry thought leaders to discuss successes, challenges, and help shape the future of assessment.

The interactive virtual conference will take place over 3 days from 7-9th October, and like the normal in-person format, you can expect a whole range of engaging presentations, workshops and special interest groups on timely and important topics to the industry.

Networking and interaction between the community is of key importance at the Surpass Conference, as only by sharing and discussing knowledge and experience can the community improve the assessment experience for everyone.

Three high-profile keynote speakers have been confirmed for the event.

David Price OBE will open the 2020 Surpass Conference. David is an expert in organisational learning for a complex future, and his first book, OPEN: How We’ll Work, Live and Learn In The Future has been an Amazon best-seller since its publication. David writes, talks, trains and advises, around the world, on some of the biggest challenges facing business, education and society. He was awarded an OBE in 2009 for services to education.

Keynotes will also be presented by Liberty Munson from Microsoft, and Harry Patrinos from the World Bank.

Liberty is a Senior Psychometrician for Microsoft Worldwide Learning. She is considered a thought leader in the certification industry, especially in areas related to how technology can fundamentally change our approach to assessment design, development, delivery, and sustainment, and has proposed many innovative ideas related to the future of certification.

Harry Patrinos is the Practice Manager for the Europe and Central Asia region of the World Bank’s education global practice. He specializes in all areas of education, especially school-based management, demand-side financing and public-private partnerships.

As well as these inspiring keynote presentations, you can expect community and partner updates, community stories, Surpass feature updates and much more.
