e-Assessment Awards Deadline Extended – now 19th March

If you haven’t yet submitted your entry for the 2021 International e-Assessment Awards, there’s still time. The final entry deadline is now Friday 19th March at midnight GMT.

This year we have eight categories, with a new award for 2021. Recognising excellence, these international awards are an opportunity to showcase globally the very best practice, research and innovation in testing and assessment, where the use of technology has enabled transformation, improved outcomes and enhanced learning and teaching. We welcome submissions from organisations worldwide including test publishers, academic institutions, awarding organisations, researchers and technology providers working within the assessment industry.

Our judges always mention how every year the Awards submissions inspire them, and with the challenges and opportunities of the last year, we are really looking forward to receiving your entries and seeing the breadth and depth of activity in the industry.

eAA Chairman, Matt Wingfield, says

“Now, more than ever, it would seem vital to share our sector’s knowledge and experience collectively as one strong voice and source of information, to build approaches that not only help address the short-medium term challenges created by the pandemic, but that also provide insight and exemplars of a possible way forward, which more fully embraces technology to deliver learning and assessment approaches fit for the 21st century.”

President at PSI, Janet Garcia, adds

“The last 12 months have undoubtedly been challenging, yet at the same time it has been a seminal period for the eAssessment industry as a whole. The lockdown and social distancing measures that were implemented as a result of COVID-19 have driven major change in the industry, as organisations sought ways to continue to assess their test takers securely, safely and accurately.”

“The industry has had to advance in terms of technology and delivery methodology far quicker than would otherwise have been the case, and although this has created challenges, we should all celebrate the ability of our industry to adapt so well to these wholly unforeseen circumstances.

So that is why, for 2021, PSI is immensely proud, once again, to be sponsoring the eAssessment Awards and recognising all those that have worked tirelessly over the last year to make sure the eAssessment industry not only survives, but thrives”.
