Digital Assess acquired by VTCT as part of a strategic investment in the business

Leading awarding organisation, the Vocational Training Charitable Trust (VTCT) has acquired Digital Assess in a strategic move designed to add significant value to the suite of products and services it offers its customers.

Digital Assess provides a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) suite of products enabling training providers to capture and assess learner skills from one location. This purchase by VTCT is reflective of the growing importance of offering flexible, online-based assessments that meet all necessary quality standards and requirements.

Alan Woods, VTCT’s CEO said, “To compete in this market, both here and overseas, we need to innovate and add value to our customers. VTCT has recently completed a strategic overhaul of our business, and we’ve been actively seeking opportunities in the digital space that will allow us to offer a broader range of value-adding services. Luckily, Digital Assess – a company that has been on our radar for a while – was available at the right time. It’s a great product with a skilled and dedicated team, and we’re convinced this acquisition will enhance the fortunes of VTCT, Digital Assess, and all of our current and future customers.

“I’d like to reassure Digital Assess’ customers that, despite the change in ownership, it’s business as usual.”

VTCT’s intention is that Digital Assess will continue to operate as a standalone business, with its own Management Team and Board, as a wholly-owned subsidiary of VTCT.

Dan Sandhu from Digital Assess said, “‘This is an exciting time in the vocational market and with the support of and as part of VTCT, the team at Digital Assess look forward to continuing to deliver innovative assessment products into this market.”
