Calling all pioneers in the field of e-assessment – submit your talk for the 2024 International e-Assessment Conference

The e-Assessment Association is inviting presentation proposals for the 2024 International e-Assessment Conference, taking place on 10th-12th June in London. The theme of this year’s conference is Keeping our Humanity in the World of Digital Assessment, placing the user experience at the centre of the discourse surrounding the use of technology to improve learning and assessment.

The conference team invites educators, technologists, policymakers, and innovators to submit their presentation proposals demonstrating the innovative use of e-assessment, the practical applications and real-world impact transforming learning and assessment.

The key topics of the 2024 International e-Assessment Conference are:

  • Learning Shaping Assessment: Understanding how digital assessment approaches can adapt to reflect the changes in learning strategies.
  • AI Evolution: Exploring the transformative power of AI to enhance the learning and assessment experience.
  • Privacy, Data Security, Legal, and Ethical Considerations: Delving into these critical aspects and the constraints in the face of the pace of change in digital assessment.
  • Fairness and Accessibility in Digital Assessment: Addressing the need for assessment that is reliable, valid and accessible to all.
  • Trust and Malpractice: Evaluating the future of trust in an assessment context and how we address concerns about cheating and malpractice.
  • Mental Health and Digital Assessment: Supporting mental health in digital learning and assessment in the post-covid landscape.

AI Symposium

With AI revolutionising all aspects of the assessment process from content development through to test development and test delivery and security, the AI Symposium is a new, focused event taking place on Monday 10th June.

Presentation proposals can also be submitted on the following topics:

  • Ethical Considerations of AI
  • AI in content and test development
  • AI and personalised assessment
  • AI in Test Security.

Presentation submissions for the main Conference and AI Symposium are encouraged from individuals, teams, policy makers and organisations across both education and workplace assessment. Presentations can be either a traditional talk, workshop, discussion, debate or panel (taking place on one of our main or syndicate stages) or an immersive experience or demonstration in our interactive suite.
