Assessment for learning: digital innovation
This webinar series focuses on assessment for learning and the potential to augment or improve reliability, validity and efficiency impact.
The sessions will provide sector and industry examples and reflection of how technology is enhancing the assessment experience for learners. It is intended to drive forward the sector conversation around the future of assessment, challenging existing practice and highlighting opportunities for and the affordances of technology enhanced assessment and learning.
Programme
Aftab Hussain (ILT and LRC Manager at Bolton College) will provide an overview about the College’s FirstPass platform and how it has been designed to support learners and teachers with the formative assessment of open-ended questions.
Patrick Craven (City & Guilds and eAssessment Association) will describe the assessment methodology spectrum, uses of assessment and signpost examples of where AI innovation has been explored in the past and can develop further.
