The 2016 International Technology Enhanced Assessment Conference (TEA 2016)

The new name for the CAA conference – takes place on 5 & 6 October in Tallinn, Estonia

TEA 2016 is a unique event connecting researchers, practitioners and policy makers to address current challenges and advances in the field of E-Assessment. In its 19th edition the conference targets  to represent the state-of-the-art and different perspectives on the conception, development, evaluation and implementation of technology use in assessment in different sectors like primary education, secondary (vocational) education, higher (vocational) education but also professional learning and non-formal learning.

The conference consists of two main tracks: Research in E-Assessment and Practice in E-Assessment. The conference seeks to connect the research and development communities.

TOPICS

Conference topics include, but are not limited to the following: TEA-Assessment quality and security, Policy frameworks for tea-assessment, Assessment in the context of MOOCs and Open Educational Resources, Open badges for assessment, Assessment platforms (architectures, open sources initiatives etc.), Question bank/item repositories, Authoring tools for assessment for teachers and learners, Tools for automatic scoring (e.g., free text entry) and feedback systems, Automation of item and test generation, Reporting systems: ePortfolios, Webfolios, open learner models, visualization of results, Mobile assessment, Assessment in serious games and virtual worlds, TEA for key competences, Methodologies, Adaptive testing and adaptive assessment, Learning analytics.

IMPORTANT DATES

23 May ’16: Deadline full papers

1 June ’16 – 26 June ’16: Reviewing papers

27 June’16 – 8 July ’16: Modifications based on reviews

11 July ’16: Camera Ready papers to TEA chairs

5-6 October ’16: TEA conference
