the e-Assessment Association

8th e-Vocational Conference

This, the 8th e-vocational, conference from Assessment Tomorrow comes at a key moment in the development of e-Assessment and the development technology for vocational qualifications..

The response to the 2014 FELTAG report is clear –

……”We will work with Ofqual, Awarding organisations, employers and learners to identify sectors for which online assessment will be particularly suitable, and develop a programme to increase its use…….. It is quite plausible that in certain sectors we may be able to set targets higher than the 50% FELTAG has suggested”

Government Response to the recommendations from the Further Education Learning Technology Action Group (FELTAG),  BIS, June 2014

The conference speakerss will develop the theme of how the current landscape of technology enabled tlearnign and assessment is changing how vocational qualifications are designed, delivered and percieved..

As in previous conferences, an expert set of speakers will discuss the issues and look from  their experiences at delivering technology enabled qualifications in the vocational, technical and professional sphere. They will examine the issues around how technology infleunces, enables and molds the assessment and hence learning process. This conference is an ideal opportunity to begin sharing the issues.
