Association of Language Testers in Europe

The ALTE 46th bi-annual Meeting and Conference will be hosted by VOX, in collaboration with the University of Bergen, and it will take place in Bergen, 6th – 8th May 2015.

As with previous events, the first two days of meetings will be for ALTE members and institutional affiliates only, and the final day, Friday 8th May 2015, will be an open conference day for all those with an interest in language testing. The theme of the conference day will be ‘The B2/C1 levels and language tests for academic purposes’ and featured speakers will include Dr Anthony Green (University of Bedfordshire), Professor Sara Weigle (Georgia State University) Bart Deygers (KU Leuven), Beate Zeidler (telc), Dr Magali Paquot (Université catholique de Louvain), Professor Angela Hasselgreen (Bergen University College),Professor Kjersti Fløttum, Professor Torodd Kinn, Else Berit Molde and Aasne Vikøy (University of Bergen), Dr Cecilie Carlsen (VOX).

The conference will be preceded by a two day course on Assessing Language for Academic Purposes, 4th -5th May, a one day course in Excel for Assessment Professionals, 4th May, and a one day course on Introduction to Facets Analysis, 5th May.
The ALTE Foundation course will take place just after the conference, 9th May.
