the e-Assessment Association

e-Vocational Conference 2014

Assessment Tomorrow

This the 7th e-vocational conference from Assessment Tomorrow and comes at a key moment in the development of e-assessment in the wider vocational context.

The response to the FELTAG report is clear:
……”We will work with Ofqual, Awarding organisations, employers and learners to identify sectors for which online assessment will be particularly suitable, and develop a programme to increase its use…….. It is quite plausible that in certain sectors we may be able to set targets higher than the 50% FELTAG has suggested.
Government Response to the recommendations from the Further Education Learning Technology Action Group (FELTAG), BIS, June 2014
The conference speakers will develop their thinking on the Government’s response to FELTAG, looking at the key issues that will need to be addressed if the aspirations of the FELTAG report are to be realised.
As in previous conferences, an expert set of speakers will discuss the issues and look at their experiences delivering technology enabled qualifications in the vocational, technical and professional sphere. They will examine the issues and attempt to predict how technology will develop over the next few years and, as importantly, its impact on assessment and on the management of the assessment process.
This conference is an ideal opportunity to begin sharing the issues.
