I am passionate about supporting Assessment organisations to be able to try new things and promote the results. I will bring this to the e-Assessment Association and raise the profile of the organisation as a space where we can try stuff, make mistakes and learn.

We have a distance to travel as organisations and I know that we all value the opportunity to work together on some of the bigger issues facing our industry and the people we help. A lot will be asked of assessment in the near future and particularly of eassessment.

Our rapid adoption of Artificial intelligence and our ability to begin to integrate with feedback loops in virtual reality using ultra haptic technologies brings us to a place where things that used to be impossible to try out are now going to be available to us. How do we use this capability for good remains undiscovered.

My interest in being a board member will be to help us to make a living while at the same time delivering events which help us to discover the answers to these questions. I am also keen to see our membership grow and include others who are also working towards these aims from other types of organisations. I am keen to expand what we do globally and to grow (carefully) to incorporate other opportunites to improve.

I have extensive hands-on experience in international education and assessment management. With a background in linguistics and language assessment, I started working in assessment in UK awarding organisations almost 20 years ago. I initially worked in assessment development and delivery with traditional pen/paper exams and then spearheaded a project to digitise examinations for an accountancy body.

In 2015, I introduced e-assessment and remote invigilation in professional certification exams as one of the earliest UK adopters of RI technology at scale. I worked closely with employers managing large national (NHS and local government) and international (United Nations agencies) education and training programmes for public finance professionals.

I have direct experience in education policy development, having worked closely with governance (education and exam boards) and oversight bodies (IFAC and FRC) and participated in the UK government initiative to develop the L7 accountancy and finance apprenticeship. In October 2020, I joined Examity (now part of Meazure Learning) and manage relationships and support 60+ international clients and their online exams delivery.

My experience at director level uniquely combines client-side and vendor-side solutions stretching across public and private sector programmes, across modest to multi-million dollar budgets and from small local focus to global reach.

I have a strong conviction for making education, knowledge, and assessments globally accessible to individuals from all walks of life. With over 15 years of experience in this field, I have been at the forefront of implementing innovative online systems that have transformed the healthcare professional sector.

My journey with AI started over two decades ago. Today, I am frequently asked about the transformative potential of AI, which challenges learning practices and traditional assessment approaches. Navigating this journey is our biggest challenge for the next few years. I have a lot of lessons to share and some ideas on what can work.

I believe in giving back to the community and devote my time freely to a national committee dedicated to the education and assessment of healthcare professionals in perinatal care. Additionally, I volunteer to assess the living environments of individuals with special needs in care facilities. These experiences show my commitment to accessible education and assessments in this important area.

I live in Melbourne, Australia and collaborate closely with multinational teams in ASEAN, China, India, and various parts of the world. I welcome your support on this journey to provide education and assessments for individuals across the globe.

I am an accomplished marketing strategist and practitioner, with extensive experience in learning and assessment technologies dating back over 30 years. I contribute regularly to thought leadership discourse including speaking at assessment-related conferences.

As Vice President of Global Marketing for PSI, I have responsibility for coordinating efforts across all markets to drive awareness of PSI’s solutions, articulate its vision and values, build brand equity and maximise sales opportunities. A long-term supporter of the e-Assessment Association and co-opted board member in 2021, I am keen now to contribute more directly to its future success. I believe bringing additional marketing experience to the board, at this pivotal moment in the association’s history, will positively impact the next phase of evolution. In particular, growing membership and engagement across both geographies and sectors of the e-Assessment community. I feel my experience of both the US and European markets will be of significant value here.
