A101: Introducing the Principles of Assessment

A new nine-week online course for anyone with an interest in educational assessment and its role in society today, including examiners, assessment writers, professional bodies, teachers and those working for exam boards. Date shown is the start date. Booking for the Jan course closes 5 Jan 2018.

  • Comparability
  • Practicality and manageability of assessment.
You don’t need any knowledge or experience of assessment to participate, and the course is designed so you can follow it at a time and a place convenient to you. The course is interactive, which means that alongside weekly lessons and video content, you’ll also learn through participating in forum discussions.
