Ufi offers a robust, end-to-end online testing service throughout the UK. Organisations can benefit from delivering assessments over a wide geographical area quicker and cheaper than conventional pencil and paper tests. Our service includes:
- Content management: the creation of item and test banks, the quality assurance of item and test performance
- Online test delivery: the delivery of assessments via the internet with the testing software hosted entirely in the UK
- Test centre network: taking advantage of the 300 learndirect centre network in England and working with our partners in Scotland, Wales and N. Ireland, we offer unrivalled geographical coverage for invigilated test delivery
- Candidate support: utilising its state of the art service centre based in Leicester, Ufi is able to offer support to candidates via web and telephone
- Data transfer: Ufi can offer secure data transfer of test results to its customers
- Data security: Ufi takes its responsibilities for protecting data seriously and has ISO 27001 certification
Our experience of delivering Life in the UK tests
Ufi has delivered the Life in the UK Test on behalf of the Home Office since 2005. It is completed by candidates online at approved test centres in support of an application for citizenship and/or settlement in the UK. There are currently 63 test centres around the country managed by Ufi; these centres are situated to offer the best geographic coverage dependent on demand. Nearly 1.1m Life in the UK tests have been taken since the service began.
