AlphaPlus is a team of highly experienced educational consultants with a large and varied portfolio of work in education and training. Our expertise lies in: 

• vocational and general qualification development
• assessment and public examinations
• e-assessment, e-learning and e-portfolios.

In addition, we have considerable experience of managing large projects in public sector education in schools and post-compulsory education.
Our clients include government departments (DIUS, DCSF, DELLS), the regulators (QCA, SQA and CCEA), Awarding Bodies, Sector Skills Councils and other government agencies such as LT Scotland, Becta and JISC.
Following ten successful years as a partnership, AlphaPlus Consultancy Ltd was incorporated in 2003.  The company minimises overheads by using a virtual organisation and a flat management structure.
The directors come from a variety of backgrounds. Within the team are directors who have:

• run Awarding Bodies
• held senior positions in NCVQ, the School Curriculum and Assessment Authority (the forerunner to QCA) and QCA
• been authors of educational publications and resources developers and publishers
• developed leading positions in the field of e-assessment and e-portfolios.
